At present NOVINSKI is producing the puppet stop-motion full-length film for children Living Large (dir. Kristina Dufkova) in co-production with Czech republic and France and short animated film Tourists, directed by Mária Kralovič in co-production with Czech republic and France. We currently develop a feature film drama and a children TV series.
In 2017, producer of NOVINSKI became one of the three main producers of a movie by Jan Svěrák, Barefoot On Stalks that turned 13 Czech Lion nominations into 5 awards that year.
In 2019 we brought to the movie theaters a short, animated movie directed by Daniela Krajčová, PERSONA GRATA.
Michal Novinski is a Slovak music composer, winner of three CZECH LIONS, recognized for his notable achievements in film and theatre. He was awarded Czech Film and Television Academy Award - CZECH LION (Český lev) for KOOKY (Kuky se vrací, 2010), directed by the Oscar-winning director Jan Svěrák, for the critically acclaimed film IN THE SHADOW (Ve stínu, 2012) by David Ondricek, co-written with his long time collaborator Jan P. Muchow, and for WATCHMAKER’S APPRENTICE (Hodinárov učeň, 2019) by Jitka Rudolfová, co-written with Ivan Acher. He also won Slovak Film and Television Academy Award (Slnko v Sieti) for the Best Original Score for Jiri Chlumsky’s film BROKEN PROMISE (Nedodržaný sľub, 2009), IN THE SHADOW (Ve stínu, 2012) by David Ondříček and THE TEACHER (Učiteľka, 2016), directed by Jan Hřebejk. He is a member of the European Film Academy (EFA), Czech Film and Television Academy (CFTA) and Slovak Film and Television Academy (SFTA).
Agata Novinski is a distinguished film producer based in Bratislava, Slovakia. She holds a degree in film production from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. Following her graduation, Agata gained valuable experience as a production assistant and director's assistant on major TV shows and programs. She then transitioned to a role as a sales manager, overseeing advertising space sales for commercial television networks. Since 2014, Agata has been actively involved in film and television production. In 2018, she joined NOVINSKI, where she serves as both a producer and executive producer for various projects. From 2019 to the end of 2023, she also held the position of Executive Director of the Slovak Film and Television Academy, further solidifying her impact on the industry.
Jana Brezinová is a production manager at NOVINSKI since 2010. Graduated in film production at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Jana has worked as unit production manager, location manager, and line producer in the commercial and movie industry during and after her studies. Eventually, at NOVINSKI she found a job that allows her to pursue her dream of staying in close touch with music. Jana is the right hand of composer Michal Novinski when it comes to production of his musical compositions.
